About Me

Let's break the ice a little 

Hey!! My name is Erin Pentecost, and I'd like to start off by saying I am so excited you've chosen to join my blogging community! By writing this blog, I hope to encourage you, be honest with you, and help you get to know the same Jesus that transformed my life at the age of 12. 

I am currently a junior at Mississippi College (Go Choctaws!) and I am looking forward to pursuing a degree in psychology. Honestly though, choosing a major has been extremely difficult for me because for as long as I can remember, I have always simply wanted to be a stay at mom when I "grow up," but we will see where The Lord takes me. :) 

Here are a few fun facts about me:

I'm obsessed with sunflowers, sunshine, and basically all things summer. 

I eat ice cream daily. (If you think I'm kidding, think again.) I seriously love ice cream. 

I am musically challenged. I cannot play any instruments or sing. Well, actually I sing a lot, so I guess I should just say that I just can't sing well. ;)

I set my alarms for really weird times (i.e. 5:36 or 8:29) I don't really know why, but something about it just makes waking up a little easier for me. 

I watch Happy Feet after scary movies.

I generally only drink water. I'm not a fan of sodas or tea, and yes I am from the South. 

I've been reading through the devotional Jesus Calling for the past five years, and it's still one of my favorites. I definitely recommend that you check it out. :)

I fell in love my Savior at age 12, and I am nothing without Him.
